A growing national media organisation is expanding its commercial team and looking for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment. The business reaches audiences across broadcast and digital platforms and is known for original content, strong audience engagement and an ambitious commercial strategy. With continued growth across the UK, the company is investing in people who can help unlock new revenue opportunities and build long lasting client relationships.

They are seeking a motivated Sales Executive to focus on direct advertising revenue across the North of England. This person will work closely with local businesses, helping them understand how broadcast and digital advertising can support their growth. It is a role suited to someone who enjoys building relationships, spotting opportunities and delivering tailored marketing solutions.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Developing new direct advertising clients through outreach, virtual & in person networking
  • Managing and growing relationships with existing clients to support repeat business
  • Identifying client needs and creating tailored advertising solutions across broadcast, digital and promotional channels
  • Preparing and delivering engaging proposals and sales presentations
  • Working towards monthly and quarterly revenue targets
  • Collaborating with creative and production teams to ensure campaigns run smoothly
  • Keeping accurate records of activity within internal systems
  • Staying informed on market trends and competitor activity
What We Are Looking For
  • 1- 2 years’ experience in media sales, radio advertising or B2B direct sales
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Confidence in building rapport with a wide range of clients
  • A proactive, results driven approach with the ability to work independently
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy pipeline
  • Understanding of local business communities and marketing trends
  • Proficiency in MS Office
