Are you an experienced telesales professional with a background in the food industry? Do you enjoy building relationships, growing customer accounts and using your product knowledge to maximise sales? If so, we'd love to hear from you.
An exciting opportunity has become available to join a well-established and growing food service business as a Telesales Executive. Working within a friendly, supportive sales team, you'll manage an existing customer base while identifying opportunities to increase sales, strengthen customer relationships and deliver exceptional service.
This is the perfect opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands the food service sector and enjoys speaking with customers every day.

* Annual salary of circa £26,000 - £38,000

Key Responsibilities
* Manage inbound and outbound sales calls with an established portfolio of food service customers.
* Build long-term relationships by understanding customers' businesses and recommending the most suitable products.
* Maximise every sales opportunity by upselling, cross-selling and introducing new product ranges.
* Use your food industry knowledge to advise customers on products, seasonal promotions and menu solutions.
* Identify gaps in customer purchasing habits and proactively encourage additional sales.
* Work towards individual sales targets while contributing to wider team objectives.
* Resolve customer queries efficiently, ensuring an outstanding customer experience.
* Maintain accurate customer records and keep up to date with product knowledge and market trends.
What we're looking for
* Previous telesales, internal sales or account management experience within the food service, wholesale or food manufacturing industry.
* A confident and engaging telephone manner with excellent communication skills.
* Proven experience of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
* Strong relationship-building skills with a genuine passion for customer service.
* Commercial awareness and the ability to spot sales opportunities.
* Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
* A positive, self-motivated attitude and a desire to succeed.
* Available to start as soon as possible.
