Octopus Energy has exciting opportunities to join our field sales team as a Venues Sales Representative. We’re changing the landscape of traditional field sales and marketing and re‑inventing customer interactions. We're focused on making energy greener and better for everyone.
We put our customers first and are looking for amazing people to help us do that! As a frontline representative, you’ll showcase the best of Octopus Energy and all we have to offer the public.
What you’ll do- Directly engage with customers on a face‑to‑face basis to promote our energy tariffs and low‑carbon technologies such as solar panels, heat pumps, and electric vehicles.
- Introduce local communities to Octopus Energy, comparing our service and products with other energy companies so potential customers can make an informed choice about switching.
- Ensure every conversation delivers outstanding customer service.
- No sales experience necessary – we’ll train you. We’re looking for people who love engaging customers, have confidence, and enjoy delivering excellent service.
- High energy and the ability to communicate confidently with potential customers.
- Experience in a customer‑centric setting where you devised quick and effective solutions.
- The ability to work collaboratively with your team to influence and inspire.
- Clear communication with a focus on listening and attention to detail.
- Honesty, focus, and commitment to delivering high‑level customer service.
- Valid driving licence to travel across our venues.
- £25,300 salary per year plus unlimited commission.
