BEMS Account Manager

We are recruiting on behalf of a market‑leading BEMS company to fill the position of Account Manager in the Midlands. The role is based in Northamptonshire, England, and offers a competitive salary of £60,000 to £65,000 per annum. The position is permanent.

As an Account Manager you will nurture existing business relationships and identify new revenue sources, working closely with Regional, Technical Support, and Service Delivery teams to provide top‑notch service to clients.

• Identify and develop new business channels with support from regional and national teams.
• Manage a portfolio of existing Midlands accounts.
• Ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met and spend targets / gross margin levels are achieved across all regions.
• Create and develop client‑specific Account Development Plans (ADPs) and engagement strategies.
• Prepare and present monthly and quarterly reports.
• Promote and sell the company brand and all its sales propositions.
• Develop long‑term relationships with existing and new key contacts.
• Coordinate with the Sales Board in creating bespoke sales strategies for different market sectors.

• Proven experience in a target‑driven sales environment, particularly with engineered solutions.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Exceptional communication skills and commercial awareness.
• Extensive product knowledge of business development, account management, energy and wellbeing legislation, bid management, Building & Energy Management Systems, and data analytics.
