I am currently recruiting for a Graduate Geologist to join a growing environmental and geotechnical consultancy based in Nottingham. This Graduate Geologist role is ideal for a recent graduate who is eager to apply academic knowledge to real-world projects while developing practical site and reporting skills.

As a Graduate Geologist, you will support site investigations, soil and rock logging, groundwater and gas monitoring, and the preparation of technical reports. Working alongside experienced consultants, the Graduate Geologist will gain exposure to a wide range of residential, commercial, and infrastructure developments across the region, with projects centred around Nottingham and the wider Midlands.

The successful Graduate Geologist will hold a degree in geology, engineering geology, or a related earth science discipline. This Graduate Geologist position offers structured training, mentoring toward chartership, and clear progression opportunities. Key responsibilities will also include data management, health and safety compliance, liaison with contractors, and assisting with desk studies and risk assessments.

Graduate Geologist, Candidate Requirements:

Hold a degree within Geology or the Earth Sciences
Full UK Driving Licence
Live within a commutable distance of Nottingham/Derby
