We are looking to recruit two Associate Professors in Cyber Security to the School of Computer Science to complement our strengths and support our growing Cyber Security research group (Cyb Sec). We are particularly interested in strengthening our activities on human aspects and/or network security.
Responsibilities- Undertake high‑quality research both individually and collaboratively, complementing the existing interests of the Cyb Sec group.
- Develop and submit research proposals to secure funding and participate in knowledge‑exchange projects.
- Act as principal investigator on major research projects and supervise post‑doctoral researchers.
- Publish findings in high‑impact venues and review the outcomes of research projects.
- Deliver high‑quality teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate levels, developing content and structure for existing and new courses within the cyber security curriculum.
- Engage with the wider academic community as a senior academic scholar.
Permanent position. Full‑time (36.25 hours). Flexible working arrangements and job‑share options may be considered.
