General Building Operative

Overview

We are recruiting for General Building Operatives on behalf of our client in the Nottingham area. These are full time roles for an initial period of 3 months. Security vetting is required prior to employment. This is to carry out routine repairs and maintenance to tenanted properties. To undertake a wide range of maintenance works in domestic properties, to include decoration, joinery and general maintenance and repairs.

• Care and maintenance of tools, plant, materials and additional company property.
• Health and Safety of self and others in the workplace.
• Delivery of works allocated to quality required within set timescales.
• Compliance with instructions and directives from line management and the Central Co-ordination Team.
• To deliver fabric repairs in both occupied and void properties.

• Time served apprenticeship in a relevant trade.
• City & Guilds, NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in joinery or similar discipline.
• Current full UK driving licence.
