About the Company

The Division NSS Maintenance are a working‑at‑height contractor operating throughout the UK, servicing facilities management clients and the refurbishment industry alike. Our national coverage operates from four UK depots to offer planned and reactive building fabric maintenance and refurbishment services to commercial, retail and industrial sectors. We currently employ 600 staff directly across the NSS Group and own a fully serviced truck‑mounted access fleet, which we use in house for reactive and planned maintenance and cleaning requests.

• Working in teams on reactive and planned maintenance jobs.
• Working at height safely on a daily basis.
• Cladding, commercial, traditional and industrial roofing maintenance.
• Guttering repairs and replacement.
• Must be flexible with working hours, travelling away, early starts, late finishes and occasional weekend work as required.
• Availability to be on call on a rota basis.
• Willingness to learn new skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Pride in workmanship and accountability.
• Utilising portable devices to undertake dynamic risk assessments on site and preparing reports on completed works.

• IPAF (1b, 3a, eb) – not essential.
• CSCS labourer or skilled worker.
• PASA.
• Driving licence – required.
• First aid certification.
• NVQ (Slating & Tiling / Sheeting & cladding).
• Experience with reactive building maintenance – identifying leaks & rectification for pitched roofing, guttering, slating, concrete tiling and GRP flat roofing.

• Fully equipped vehicle with fuel card.
• Overtime at time and half.
