Council - First Response Duty & Assessment Team

Role Overview

Nottingham City is seeking experienced Social Workers to join their First Response Duty & Assessment Team.

Work within a busy Duty & Assessment team progressing children's assessments

Hold CIN / CP / LAC cases to the swift point of transfer to long-term teams

Take cases to ICPC

Court work including progression and presentation

Attend and present at LAC reviews

One-week duty cycle with three weeks to complete allocated work

All candidates must have a minimum of three years post-qualification experience within permanent Local Authority roles.

• Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
• At least 3 years' experience as a social worker within children's services
• Social Work England Registration

Driving license and access to own vehicle
