We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Young Person’s Resilience Worker to join our Nottingham service with a dedicated Youth Hubs function. This role combines frontline intervention work with a visible, hub‑based presence, supporting young people affected by substance use and other vulnerabilities while strengthening pathways between services and professionals.
Key responsibilities include working directly with young people to deliver evidence‑based interventions, acting as a key link within the Youth Hubs to improve accessibility, supporting referrals, and helping professionals navigate pathways into the service.

HoursFull time, 37.5 hours per week.
SalaryCGL points 23–28 (£28,557.79 – £32,802.41)
Requirements- Experience working with young people in a supportive or therapeutic capacity.
- Knowledge of substance misuse, safeguarding and harm reduction.
- Ability to work flexibly in community settings and multi‑agency environments.
- Strong communication and partnership‑working skills.
- Understanding working within a hub or integrated service model (desirable).
- Hold a full current UK Driving Licence with access to own transport or ability to travel between services efficiently.
- Support young people from entry into the service through their treatment and recovery journey.
- Deliver screening, assessments, psychosocial interventions and care planning.
- Build trusted relationships and deliver person‑centred, evidence‑based interventions.
- Identify and respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns.
- Reduce drug‑ and alcohol‑related harm for individuals and the wider community.
- Promote positive outcomes in health, wellbeing and resilience.
- Provide a consistent and visible presence within the Youth Hubs, making services accessible and welcoming for young people.
- Act as a Single Point of Contact for professionals, supporting clear communication and coordination across services.
- Support and streamline referral pathways, ensuring timely and effective access to support.
- Offer consultation, guidance and informal training to professionals around substance use, risk and engagement.
- Build strong partnerships with Nottingham City services to deliver a joined‑up, multi‑agency approach.
- Identify gaps, emerging needs and opportunities to improve service delivery within the hub model.
- Passionate about supporting young people to achieve positive change.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, including Fraser Guidelines and Gillick Competence.
- Experience working with young people affected by substance use or related vulnerabilities.
- Confident working across multiple agencies and building professional relationships.
- Strong communication, organisation and record‑keeping skills.
- Able to work proactively, independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
