You’ll have the autonomy to manage your work effectively while being supported by experienced managers who understand the challenges and rewards of working with Looked After Children. Whether your background is in a Looked After Children Social Worker or Children in Care role, you’ll be part of a service that values high‑quality practice and relationship‑based social work.

• £38 per hour.

• Manage a caseload of Looked After Children, ensuring their needs remain central to all planning and decision‑making.
• Complete statutory visits, assessments and care planning in line with legislative requirements.
• Build effective relationships with children, families, foster carers and partner agencies.
• Prepare reports and contribute to reviews and court proceedings where required.

• Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
• Previous experience within a Looked After Children or Children in Care team.
• Strong experience completing assessments and care planning for children in care.
