We are seeking a dedicated and caring Family Support Practitioner to join our team. In this rewarding role, you will support families both in their homes and within our welcoming hub environments. You will provide high-quality 1:1 family support and deliver structured parenting programmes in a group setting. Your work will help build confidence, strengthen relationships, and promote positive outcomes for families.
As a Family Support Practitioner, your key responsibilities will include:
- Offering tailored 1:1 support to families in their homes and within Family Hub settings.
- Planning and delivering engaging parenting courses to groups of parents and carers.
- Supporting families across a range of needs, including:
- Behaviour management, routines, and boundaries.
- Sleep, weaning, and toileting.
- Accessing support for financial challenges.
- Navigating relationship difficulties.
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs at level A*-C (including English) or equivalent.
- An understanding of child development, effective parenting, and attachment theory.
- A full driving licence (unless registered disabled).
- Experience working with children, young people, and their families (either paid or voluntary) is desirable.

- Confident working both independently and as part of a multi-agency team.
