Notts SVSS is seeking an experienced and motivated support worker to join our ISVA Team. Successful applicants will work as part of a dedicated team, supporting survivors through assessment, planning, advocacy, safeguarding and referral pathways, whilst ensuring services remain safe, ethical and compliant with organisational policies and ISVA service standards.
In this role, you will:
Provide practical, emotional and trauma-informed support to survivors of sexual violence and abuse, ensuring services are delivered safely, ethically and to a high standard.
Undertake risk and needs assessments, develop support plans, and respond appropriately to safeguarding and risk management concerns.
Process incoming referrals, including associated paperwork and timely data entry onto the DPMS system, and support the management of waiting lists and survivor welfare check-ins.
Work collaboratively with partner agencies to provide coordinated support and make appropriate referrals and signposting to specialist services.
Contribute to the development of an accessible, equitable and survivor-centred service through effective teamwork, administration support and partnership working.
