Java Developer (Junior) – Nottingham

An award‑winning software house is recruiting for a Junior Java Developer. Responsibilities include developing software modules, collaborating with other developers on design decisions, delivering functional solutions, and reporting to the Technical Team Leader.

• Develop and maintain Java applications using J2EE technologies
• Collaborate with team members on architectural decisions and application requirements
• Write unit tests with JUnit and participate in code reviews
• Document design choices and development processes
• Support deployment on Wildfly8 servers and manage RESTful Web Services (JAX‑RS)

• Java SE, JDK 7
• 1+ year of professional experience
• Some knowledge of JEE is desirable
• Experience with Wildfly8 server
• Familiarity with JAX‑RS, CDI (Weld), EJB 3, stateless session beans, and JPA
