We're looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team delivering modern, cloud-native software solutions.
This is a hands‑on development role where you'll work across the full software development lifecycle, building scalable applications and collaborating with product owners, platform engineers and data scientists.
Key Requirements- Strong commercial experience with Python, Type Script or .NET (C#)
- Experience building cloud-native applications and microservices
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and modern software engineering practices
- SQL and/or No
SQL database experience - CI/CD and automated testing experience
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)
- Exposure to AI/ML technologies is beneficial but not essential
- Current SC Clearance is desirable
- Must be eligible to obtain SC Clearance
The role requires travel to the Lake District approximately 2–3 days per week during the initial onboarding period
, reducing to around one visit per month thereafter.
