Ascent People Ltd in the East Midlands is seeking a Big Data Developer on a 3-month contract (with potential for extension) to work on Scala-based big data solutions using Spark Streaming, Hive/Impala, and the Hadoop ecosystem.
The role requires Linux (CentOS
7), experience with Sqoop, CDH, data modelling, unit testing, and strong communication to produce technical and non-technical documentation.
