What You’ll Do:

You will drive a lorry from our exceptional fleet of Volvo vehicles, all less than 4 years old. They’re a joy to drive, and are equipped to a high specification, including fridges, leather seats and many more optional extras to make sure you’re comfortable.

Most of our sites run from Monday to Friday, with 45 hour working weeks, and 9‑hour shifts per day which typically start at 7/8am. Our well‑organised shift schedules mean you often know in advance where you’ll be driving, taking the stress out of your day.

Key Role Responsibilities

We don’t micromanage our drivers. We trust them to get the job done and plan their own routes. The average number of stops in a shift is 4 to 6, so there’s plenty of time to enjoy being out on the open road - but you’ll still be home again at the end of every 9‑hour shift.

You’ll make sure Cages, Pallets, Freight, Stillages and Yorks get to and from customers bang on time. At some sites, the goods will be loaded or unloaded for you - at others, you’ll need to do it yourself. Scanning consignments and driving pallet trucks will sometimes be part of your day.

You’ll be responsible for inspecting your vehicle and trailer every day and complete a Defect Report if necessary.

What We Can Offer You:
  • Annual Leave:
At least 28 days of annual leave (including Bank Holidays).
  • Career Progression
  • Inclusive Benefits:
Access to flexible perks including shopping vouchers, insurance, and healthcare.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Class 1 Driving licence
  • Driver CPC qualification card
  • Completed required DCPC training hours or be working towards them
  • Excellent knowledge of Road Transport Laws - and commitment to safe use of the roads

At Evri Premium, we know we only grow if our people do too. That’s why we’re committed to building a truly inclusive and diverse workplace where everyone can bring – and be – their whole authentic selves. We’re on a journey to better represent the customers we serve around the UK. We’re committed to removing barriers and ensure that each person at Evri Premium is valued for who they are, and what they bring to our business.

We are Evri. Where everyone is welcome

We’re excited for the future. Let’s deliver it together.
