HGV Class 1 Driver

Pay: £16.79 per hour, Monday to Friday.

Rapier Employment are currently seeking HGV Class 1 Drivers for our client based in the Nottingham area. Day and night shifts are available. Due to the high value of products on the trailers, a valid DBS check must be obtained prior to commencing any assessment and work on site. Vehicles fitted with maple locks and anti‑hijack system. All drivers issued with a panic alarm.

360 cameras inside the cab. Trunking runs as far as Scotland.

You will need to complete a driving and theory assessment, and a drug and alcohol test once successful pre‑employment checks have been completed.

Day

Shifts:

• Box trailers.
• Bay work.
• Long term position.
• Weekend work if wanted.
• 50–60 hours per week.

• Experience of Class 1 driving.
• Held your HGV Class 1 Licence for at least one year.
• At least 6 months experience driving HGV class 2 vehicles.
• “Can do” attitude.
• No DR10’s No CD10’s No IN10’s - NO MORE THAN 6 POINTS.
• Digital tachograph card and CPC qualification.
