HGV Class 1 Driver – Permanent Role

Nottingham (NG6)

Salary: £35,500 per annum (48‑hour week)

As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for carrying out scheduled collections and deliveries of materials, ensuring a professional and secure service to customers at all times.

Duties will include:

• Carrying out collections and deliveries in line with daily schedules
• Providing a professional, customer-focused service on-site
• Completing vehicle checks and maintenance logs
• Following job instructions, including weighing or recording materials where required
• Ensuring all paperwork and documentation is completed accurately
• Making sure the vehicle is clean, secure, and well maintained
• Operating equipment where required (full training provided)
• Adhering to all DVLA, VOSA and health & safety regulations
• Supporting with manual handling and lifting as part of the role

• £35,500 per annum (based on a 48‑hour working week)

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Minimum 12 months Class 1 experience
• Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph card
• No more than 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
• Good understanding of UK road regulations and safety standards
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and customer‑focused attitude
