Class 1 HGV Drivers Immediate Starts

If you’re an experienced Class 2 Driver looking for dependable work with a regular schedule, this could be the ideal opportunity. We’re recruiting drivers to join a busy transport operation, delivering goods to commercial customers across the region. With ongoing work available and immediate starts for the right candidates, you’ll enjoy a role that offers both stability and variety.

Your day will involve delivering palletised and frozen goods to a range of commercial customers. Most shifts consist of between one and five deliveries, giving you a manageable workload without the demands of high-volume multi-drop driving. With only minimal handball required, you’ll spend most of your time behind the wheel, keeping deliveries running smoothly and on schedule.

This is an ongoing position offering regular work throughout the week.

Hourly Rate:
Drivers can earn £22.00 per hour when paid through an umbrella company. Alternatively, PAYE rates are available at up to £16.50 per hour.

If you choose the PAYE option, you'll also accrue up to 28 days' paid holiday per year, calculated on a pro rata basis.

Working Hours:

Shifts are available from Monday to Friday, with start times between 04:00 and 12:00, depending on the route assigned.

Closing Date:

Applicants must hold a valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category

C) driving licence, along with a valid Digital Tachograph Card and Driver CPC Card. Previous experience driving commercially in a similar role is preferred.
