We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver to join our client in Basildon on an ongoing temporary basis, offering consistent work, competitive pay, and a supportive working environment.

Competitive pay of £21.24 per hour Tuesday to Friday working pattern for long weekends every week Minimum of 7.25 hours paid per shift Ongoing temporary work with consistent hours Enhanced hourly rates available for weekend work during busy periods Opportunity to work with a well-established and professional team About the Role As a HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver , you will play an important role in keeping local communities clean by safely collecting household waste and recycling across the Basilldon area.

Drive a refuse collection vehicle on planned local routes Lead and work alongside a team of loaders throughout the shift Collect household, recycling, and garden waste from residential properties Empty waste at authorised disposal facilities Carry out daily vehicle safety inspections and complete required paperwork Assist the loading team when operationally required About You We're looking for a reliable and safety-conscious driver with the right experience and a strong work ethic.

Hold a valid Category C (Class
