HGV Class 1 Driver - Worksop

Essential requirements for HGV Class 1 Driver

Full UK Driving Licence (C+E)
Digital Tachograph Card + CPC (Driver Qualification)
6 Months Minimum Class 1 Driving Experience
No More than 6 points on Licence (Including DR, DD, IN, TT)

Desirable requirements for HGV Class 1 Driver

Previous Class 1 driving experience (6+ months preferred)
Experience with RDC, trunking, and store deliveries
Familiarity with curtainsiders, refrigerated units, and box trailers
Good knowledge of the UK road network and major distribution centres
Experience completing PODs, delivery paperwork, or handheld scanners
Strong customer service skills when dealing with site staff or clients
Experience with manual handling and safe loading/unloading
Flexible and proactive attitude towards overtime and varied shifts
Strong focus on road safety and vehicle checks
Reliability, punctuality, and a professional attitude
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work well as a team player
