HGV 7.Drivers

Are you an experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver looking for regular weekday work, early finishes and the chance to secure a permanent position? We are currently recruiting HGV 7.5 Tonne Drivers to join an established waste and recycling operation in Alfreton.

You’ll be part of a refuse collection team, driving scheduled routes throughout Derbyshire and carrying out household and commercial waste collections.

Working alongside a team of loaders, you’ll help ensure daily routes are completed safely and efficiently while following all relevant company procedures and maintaining high standards of Health & Safety.

Hourly Rate:
Pay & Benefits £14.00 per hour for the first 8 hours worked £21.00 per hour after 8 hours £21.00 per hour for all Saturday hours worked

Up to 28 days’ holiday accrued pro rata throughout your assignment

Monday to Friday working

Valid UK Category C1 (7.5 Tonne) licence
Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
Valid Digital Tachograph Card
Previous 7.5 Tonne driving experience preferred
Good understanding of Drivers’ Hours regulations and road transport legislation
Able to work effectively as part of a team
Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious
Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
