Shunter Driver
- Worksop
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Shunter Driver to work with a leading logistics company in Worksop. This role is essential for maintaining the efficiency of our site operations and ensuring the smooth movement of trailers.
Shift patterns- 4on4off from 18:00-06:00
- 16.43 GBP hourly
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn daily tasks
- Follow supervisor instructions respectfully
- Work as a team by helping coworkers whenever needed
- Previous shunting experience preferred
- Class 1 licence not required
- Ensure empty trailers are on the relevant outbound docks and secured for loading
- Move trailers around the site in a safe and secure manner following all site health and safety procedures
- Complete scheduled movements of trailers and ensure customer material is not damaged
- Accurately record working and driving hours and complete all necessary documentation
- Operate IT systems and achieve productivity, service, and compliance targets
