Class 1 Driver (C+E) - Immediate Starts Available
Barker Ross are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for an ongoing, full-time role.
This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for a regular Monday to Friday shift, with consistent hours and no handballing involved.
The ShiftMonday to Friday, 10:00am - 8:00pm
Start and finish times may vary slightly depending on operational requirements, so flexibility is required.
What You'll Be Doing- Driving a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle safely and professionally
- Delivering palletised goods - no handballing required
- Ensuring the vehicle and freight are secure at all times
- Completing daily vehicle checks and relevant paperwork
- Following all road transport and Health & Safety regulations
- Providing a reliable and professional service at all times
- A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
- A valid Driver CPC
- A valid Digital Tachograph Card
- A minimum of 6 months Class 1 driving experience
- No more than 6 points on your licence
- No DD or DR convictions
- A good understanding of driving hours and road transport regulations
- A reliable and professional attitude
- The ability to work independently
An assessment is required for this role and will take place at 10:00am tomorrow, Friday 28/08.
Successful candidates will be able to start ASAP.
