Position: Stock Controller (Permanent)

Stock Controller – Nights

Beeston, Nottingham (NG9)

£13.30 per hour

4 on / 4 off | Nights | 6:00pm – 6:00am

Full-time | Ongoing contract

Vital People are recruiting an experienced Stock Controller (Nights) to join a fast-paced warehouse operation in Beeston. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong stock control experience who is confident working night shifts.

Key Responsibilities

* Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, packaging, and WIP stock

* Carry out daily cycle counts and periodic/annual stocktakes

* Use WMS systems (Vision, M3, Excel, Factory Track) to monitor, manage, and investigate stock discrepancies

* Produce variance reports (daily, weekly, monthly, year-end)

* Identify and report slow-moving and obsolete stock

* Ensure correct stock rotation (FIFO / FEFO)

* Communicate effectively with internal teams and key stakeholders

* Operate Counterbalance forklift truck as required

* Maintain warehouse cleanliness and follow all health & safety procedures

Requirements

* Valid Counterbalance forklift licence (in-date and accredited)

* Proven experience in stock control within a warehouse or manufacturing environment

* Confident using inventory systems and Excel

* Excellent attention to detail and time management skills

* Strong written and verbal communication

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Comfortable with manual handling tasks
