About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Associate to support our day-to-day inventory operations at our Nottingham site. This is a fast‑paced role ideal for someone with strong Excel skills, inventory management experience, and the ability to work collaboratively across supply chain functions.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate stock records, analysing inventory data, and supporting operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with daily inventory management tasks, including stock tracking and reconciliation.
- Update, validate, and maintain inventory records using Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Support data analysis and reporting, identifying trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Create reports and insights using advanced Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel functions, including:
- Pivot Tables
- VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
- INDEX‑MATCH
- Power Query
- Macros
- Collaborate with 3PL partners to ensure accurate stock levels and timely shipments.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between system records and physical stock.
- Support forecasting and demand planning activities to help maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Strong proficiency in English (written and verbal).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX‑MATCH, Power Query, and Macros.
- Previous experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 for inventory management.
- Good understanding of inventory, supply chain, stock reconciliation, and fulfilment processes.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Highly organised and detail‑focused individual.
- Comfortable working with large datasets and inventory systems.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Team player with strong communication skills.
