Team Leader, Warehouse

Salary £34,483.00 plus Veolia benefits

Hours 46.67 hours per week. Rolling rota 4 on 2 off – to be confirmed day to Saturday 6am – 4.30pm. Overtime when needed.

Location Colwick Transfer Station, Nottinghamshire, NG4 2JU

The facility focuses on bulking, treatment, and transfer of waste collected from local businesses and households, and on shredding residual waste to produce refuse derived fuel (RDF).

• Assist with the day‑to‑day running of the RDF plant, ensuring safe and efficient operation of mobile plant equipment
• Liaise with the facilities manager and supervisor
• Ensure materials are processed to achieve maximum throughput at all times
• Responsible for the safety of all staff, contractors, and visitors on‑site
• Assign work to the production team and supervise their activities
• Utilise resources to maximise effectiveness and continually improve all aspects of the facility
• Control tipping hall activities for incoming loads in conjunction with weighbridge operations
• Control all loading activities
• When required, operate the weighbridge system

• Previous team leader/management experience
• Material handler (360) licence
• IOSH certificate
