Pay Rate: £13.57 per hour (2:00pm 8:00pm) | £16.58 per hour (8:00pm 10:00pm)
Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 2:00pm 10:00pm
Contract: Temp to Perm

Quest Employment is looking for a Warehouse Operative Yard Shunter to join a busy logistics operation in Derby.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience working in a warehouse or yard environment who enjoys a varied role. You will be responsible for moving trailers safely around the yard while also supporting warehouse operations when required.

As a Warehouse Operative Yard Shunter, your responsibilities will include:

• Moving trailers safely between yard locations and loading bays
• Positioning trailers for loading and unloading
• Carrying out vehicle and equipment safety checks
• Supporting the warehouse team with loading, unloading, picking, and general warehouse duties during quieter periods
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised working environment
• Following all site health and safety procedures

• Previous experience in a warehouse, yard, or logistics environment
• Good awareness of health and safety
