Working Hours & Pay

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Location:

Nottingham

Shifts (Monday-Friday) One of the following:

1 pm - 9 pm
5 am - 1 pm
6 am - 2 pm
2 pm - 10 pm

Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include but not be limited to:

Accurately picking single and multiple orders while ensuring high levels of attention to detail.
Utilising guns/scanners to locate and select items within the warehouse management system.
Packing and labeling orders with efficiency and care, adhering to quality assurance standards.
Processing returns and inspecting items for quality to maintain customer satisfaction.
Sorting and replenishing stock to support inventory management.
Ensuring items are ready for dispatch, meeting deadlines and time-sensitive shipments.
Collaborating with the team to work toward and achieve daily targets.
Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in line with health and safety policies.

Essential

Skills & Requirements:

Proficiency in using scanners/guns or other inventory-tracking technology (training provided if necessary).
Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy while picking and packing.
Good organizational skills and a methodical approach to tasks.
Physical capability to perform manual handling tasks, including lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods.
Effective communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team or independently.

Desired

Skills:

Experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution centre environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
Basic knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.

Day-to-Day

Start your day by reviewing incoming orders and setting priorities for the shift.
Pick items using handheld scanners while upholding accuracy and speed.
Inspect items for quality assurance, ensuring our customers receive the best experience.
Collaborate with team members to replenish critical stock and streamline warehouse workflows.
Safely pack, label, and stage items for dispatch or delivery.
Wrap up the day by organizing and preparing for the next shift while adhering to daily targets and goals.
