FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative - Daventry, Northamptonshire

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our well-established client based in Daventry, Northamptonshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent hourly rates, stable shifts, weekly pay and genuine long-term opportunities within a busy warehouse environment.

This would suit applicants who have worked as an Forklift Driver, FLT Driver, Order Picker, Warehouse Associate or General Operative.

Rates of Pay:£14.01 per hour

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• 07:00 - 15:30 or 09:00 - 17:30 (Flexibility needed)

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as a FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative are:

• Counterbalance FLT Driving.
• Picking & Packing of orders.
• Goods in & Goods Out duties as required.
• Some heavy lifting involved up to 24kg
• Moving, storing and organising stock within the warehouse
• Ensuring all products are stored safely and correctly
• Following all health and safety procedures at all times

Essential

Skills:

To be successful as a FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative , you will need:

• Previous warehouse experience
• Counterbalance FLT Licence with experience
• A basic level of English, both spoken and written
• Good attention to detail
• Reliability and strong timekeeping skills
• Good communication skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A positive and proactive attitude
• The ability to undertake manual handling duties

Training:

• Site-specific training provided
• Health and safety guidance and support
