Lead an integrated addiction medicine and primary care program serving a diverse patient population in Marin County, CA. This role combines leadership in substance use disorder (SUD) services with direct clinical care.
Position Overview
Full-time, onsite (Monday"Friday)
50% primary care, 30% addiction clinical leadership, 20% administrative time
Relocation assistance available
Key Responsibilities
Provide medical leadership for addiction treatment, including policy development, training, and interdisciplinary coordination
Deliver direct care to patients with substance use disorders using evidence-based treatment models
Serve as a primary care provider for a patient panel
Conduct comprehensive evaluations, prescribe medications, and manage continuity of care
Participate in quality improvement and risk management activities
Qualifications
MD or DO with valid California medical license and DEA registration
Board Certified/Eligible in Addiction Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine
Minimum 3 years of addiction medicine or fellowship training
BLS certification required
Spanish language skills preferred; EPIC experience a plus
