The Loan Processing Associate processes and ensures that all consumer loan applications are complete and accurate. Must follow loan lending guidelines including verifying assets, employment, liabilities, etc. Ordering title reports, insurance and ordering loan documents. Review all data submitted with loans to ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines. Entering data into Loan Origination System.
* Process approved loan applications and may prepare declination letters.
* Review all loan packages to ensure that they are in compliance with currently regulatory standards. In addition, keep track of the loan process from initial application to funding.
* Order all necessary reports, such as Preliminary Title Report, Insurance, etc. Verify that all data is correct.
* Work in conjunction with approving Credit Officer to obtain necessary information to close the loan within a timely manner.
* Coordinate the close of escrows, including review of final loan documents, funding, etc.
* Complete an in-progress checklist as the loan flows through the various processes.
* Handle Borrower Communication, monthly renewal tracking and payment delinquencies.
* Support Audit and Regulatory Reviews.
* Update team on changes to lending laws and guidance.
* Complete credit requests from other departments.
Professional
Experience:
* Minimum 2 - 4 year's relevant banking experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Educational/Professional
Experience:
* Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience and/or training.
The hiring pay range for this position is $24.99 to $33.72. In addition to the pay range listed, all bank positions are eligible for incentive compensation, which varies based on role. The pay rate for a successful applicant depends on a variety of factors including but not limited to geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
