Travel RN - Med​/Surg

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 13-week assignment requiring a CA RN license and at least 2 years of experience.

• Active CA RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (AHA or ARC)
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required
• 7-year work history verification required for all candidates
• 2 professional references obtained within the past year required

• Medical Surgical unit setting
• Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM-7:30 PM, one week
• Night shift: 2x12 hours, alternating weekly with day shift
• Variable days with every other weekend required
• No call requirements
• Floating as needed
• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit
• Local candidates accepted at local rate within a 50-mile radius
• Returning employees must have a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler
• Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract
• Only one holiday request approved per contract, covering New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
• Lab work must be completed within 3-5 days of contract signing
• All compliance documents due 10 days prior to start date
