Associate Veterinarian – Thrive Pet Healthcare
About the RoleYou’ll get to know the family and care for the pet year after year. From delivering reliable care, to preventative visits, to being the first one they call when something just feels wrong.
Responsibilities- Deliver reliable medical care for small animal patients.
- Conduct preventive care visits.
- Provide timely veterinary services for unexpected health issues.
- Collaborate with the veterinary team to maintain high standards of medical excellence.
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree.
- State Veterinary Board License in good standing for the state of hire, prior to start date.
- Active DEA license or eligibility for DEA licensure.
- Willingness to uphold high standards of medical excellence.
The Country Vet is a well‑established small animal veterinary hospital located in beautiful Marin County. We have been in business for over 35 years and have a large client base, supportive staff, and experienced veterinary colleagues to work with.
Our team is collaborative, dedicated to a positive work environment, and pursues growth and learning to achieve excellence in compassionate care.
We are open Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 6:00 pm. Serving Novato, Petaluma, San Rafael, Mill Valley, and Rohnert Park.

Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with an annual full‑time range starting at $ per year.
