Entry Level Staff Accountant - Automotive Parts Manufacturer (35096) Base pay range

$45,000.00/yr - $55,000.00/yr

A leading international automotive parts manufacturing company in Novi, MI area is searching for a motivated Entry Level Staff Accountant.

The ideal candidate would have 1 year of experience in account receivable with accounting degree but entry level candidates are encouraged to apply!

• Record customer cash receipts accurately in the accounting system
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between customer payments and issued invoices
• Compile and prepare lists of vendor bills payable
• Identify and address discrepancies in inventory pricing
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding statements or invoices
• Update pricing information within the accounting system as needed
• Prepare various financial documents, including bills, invoices, and memos
• Provide support with other clerical tasks related to accounting and the accounting system
• Responsible for payments to customers
• Other responsibilities might be assigned by manager

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• Must have computer proficiency with Excel
• Familiarity with GAAP
• Experience in accounting experience at manufacturing is a huge plus
• Account receivable experience will be a plus
• Strong communication and collaboration ability in a multicultural environment
• Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to collaborate with other colleagues and departments
• This position includes manufacturing and office work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear.
  
  You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
