We have immediate career opportunities. We are currently seeking several
Prototype Automotive Mechanics
to join our team in Novi, MI.
Job responsibilities include:

• Retrofit of vehicles
• Upfit of vehicles
• Diagnostics of build concerns
• Diagnostics of vehicle programming
• Assist engineering team with troubleshooting, root cause analysis and corrective action
• Complete reports on concerns found during assigned project
• Tracking personal progress to ensure department and corporate objectives are met
• Maintain delivery timing on assignments
• Quality checks of pre and post builds.

• 3+ years of automotive mechanic experience
• Experience with equipment such as hoists, liquid evacuation, tools for engine removals, other
• Willing to work overtime as needed
• Strong automotive mechanical skills, problem solving skills
• Vehicle diagnostics, vehicle re-flash programming
• Reasonably skilled in the understanding of vehicle operation in HVAC, Fuel/Exhaust, Brake System, Engine Electrical, Body Electrical, Transmission/Transfer case, Front-Wheel Drive Transaxle, Automatic Transmission, Minor Body/Interior.
• Reasonable computer skills in accessing, reading, and inputting required vehicle repair data

• State of Michigan, ASE, and/or manufacturer certifications a plus
