• Retrofit of vehicles
• Upfit of vehicles
• Diagnostics of build concerns
• Diagnostics of vehicle programming
• Assist engineering team with troubleshooting, root cause analysis and corrective action
• Complete reports on concerns found during assigned projects
• Track personal progress to ensure department and corporate objectives are met
• Maintain delivery timing on assignments
• Quality checks of pre- and post-builds

• 3+ years of automotive mechanic experience
• Experience with equipment such as hoists, fluid evacuation tools, engine removal tools, and related equipment
• Willing to work overtime as needed
• Strong automotive mechanical skills and problem-solving abilities
• Vehicle diagnostics and vehicle re-flash programming
• Reasonable understanding of vehicle operation in HVAC, Fuel/Exhaust, Brake Systems, Engine Electrical, Body Electrical, Transmission/Transfer Case, Front-Wheel Drive Transaxle, Automatic Transmission, and Minor Body/Interior systems
• Reasonable computer skills in accessing, reading, and inputting required vehicle repair data
• State of Michigan, ASE, and/or manufacturer certifications a plus
