Join Yanfeng as a Buyer to manage sourcing, supplier relationships and cost reduction for Automotive Interiors.

• Control sourcing on time at or below cost targets
• Ensure flawless SDT launches per PLUS and customer timing / deliverables
• Maintain direct production materials / components to ensure adequate supply for Yanfeng Automotive Interiors operations
• Strive to achieve cost savings goals and financial commitments per program/corporate targets
• Understand and support execution of supplier Commodity Strategies (MBBP)
• Support Commodity Managers in developing and implementing sub commodity strategies (SMPE)
• Initiate and lead cross‑functional Make‑vs‑Buy decisions
• Supplier management activities: RFQ, change management, contract negotiations, payment queries, dispute resolution, etc.
• Investigate and validate new potential suppliers in Southeast Region to support YFAI operations

• Business Operating System (BOS):
  Understand, apply and meet all function‑related BOS requirements
• Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS):
  Understand, apply and meet all function‑related EHS requirements
• Product Safety:
  Understand, apply and meet all function‑related Product Safety requirements
• Compliance:

• Information Security:
  Understand, apply and meet all function‑related IT / Information Security and confidentiality requirements

4‑year degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration. Master’s degree desired.

At least 3 years of relevant experience.

• Automotive manufacturing, engineering, procurement, Supply Chain Management (SCM) and/or costing
• Problem‑solving to analyze and identify waste in supplier processes to drive cost reductions and process improvements

• Ability to analyze and execute contracts
• Understand key contract provisions and terms and conditions
• Understand Statement of Work requirements

• Understand benchmark requirements
• Identify and understand key cost drivers
• Prepare and present cost analysis to support decision‑making processes
• Work with Customer Business Units and Operations to understand Total Cost impacts to the business to drive proper sourcing decisions

• Ability to gather information, analyze data, prepare for and/or lead negotiations to ensure Yanfeng financial, quality, delivery, cost savings and other corporate goals are met
• Understand supplier performance, process, footprint strategies in relation to Yanfeng Automotive Interiors’ operations to provide Best Cost sourcing
• Understand customer commercial and footprint strategies in order to provide Best Cost sourcing

• Support annual Business Review process with strategic suppliers to ensure supplier specific roadmaps are met
• Support Commodity Teams in driving improvements in forecasted savings, continuous improvement, economics mitigation, supplier quality performance, supplier rationalization, sub‑commodity strategies, LCC sourcing content, payment terms, supplier T&Cs and other strategic objectives
• Support Material Best Business Practices (MBBP) to implement strategies and cost savings
• Develop sub‑commodity strategies through SMPE initiatives
