Dental Assistant

Overview

Our office, Endodontic Assoc of MI - (Novi) Northville, in Novi, Michigan, is seeking a talented Dental Assistant to join our busy specialty practice.

We aim to provide a world‑class specialty experience for every patient. This role supports the dentist and helps deliver excellent patient service by addressing patient needs, concerns, and questions while keeping patients relaxed and comfortable during visits.

• Must be willing to work at additional Endodontic Associates locations as needed
• Welcome patients to the dental office
• Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort
• Select and set up instruments, equipment, and supplies
• Sterilize instruments according to regulations
• Assist the dentist through 4‑handed dentistry
• Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
• Keep the dental room clean and well‑stocked
• Schedule appointments and post‑op visits
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Assist with payment procedures

As an essential member of the team, you will also help facilitate or coordinate other office responsibilities as needed.

You are a resourceful dental assistant who loves helping patients receive the experience they deserve and helps the Dentist provide it. You are a kind, passionate and collaborative problem‑solver who can proactively adjust to shifting priorities and values the chance to make an important impact.

• No experience required; willing to train the right candidate
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Understanding of health and safety regulations
• Ability to perform regulated non‑surgical tasks
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Well‑organized and reliable
• High school diploma
• Certificate from an accredited dental assistant program (if required by law)
• Active state radiology license (if required by law)

Position Base Pay Range

$18 - $28 USD
