Position Summary
As a Dyno Technician
, you will play a key role in setting up, operating, and maintaining engine and chassis dynamo meters
. You’ll work hands‑on with engines and vehicles, collecting and analyzing test data, ensuring accuracy, and supporting engineers in performance and calibration development.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct engine and vehicle performance tests using chassis and engine dynamo meters.
- Collect, record, and analyze data such as torque, horsepower, and emissions.
- Prepare and configure test cells, install engines/vehicles, and set up equipment.
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot dynos and related test systems.
- Collaborate with engineers and team members to execute test plans and report results.
- Ensure all testing activities meet MARTIN safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience operating engine or chassis dynamo meters.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to interpret and analyze test data accurately.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools, data systems, and calibration software.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- ASE certification or relevant technical training preferred.
Preferred Experience
- Background in automotive testing or vehicle development.
- Knowledge of emissions, fuel systems, and calibration testing.
- Experience in data acquisition and performance diagnostics.
