Senior Tax Analyst at Hanon Systems

The Senior Tax Analyst is responsible for preparing work papers for all required tax returns, including filing of certain returns; preparing research and development tax credit; preparing tax accounting files; supporting the global tax team; researching various tax matters; as well as various ad hoc requests. This position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to clearly communicate with tax manager, finance team, and various operations and business-related colleagues.

Must be self-motivated, organized and have a strong tax background.

• Prepare work papers for all tax filings, including preparation of certain returns, including provision to return analysis.
• Prepare research and development tax credit calculation.
• Prepare year-end tax provision.
• Prepare tax accounting files related to income tax accounts for consolidated financial statements.
• Monitor federal, state, and local legislation and make determinations as to potential impact on the company’s business operations.
• Assist tax manager on various other assignments as required, including requests from headquarters and potentially tax items in Canada, Mexico, and Brazil.

• 5 years of public accounting experience or large company experience

• BBA or BS in Finance or Accounting
• CPA preferred
