Telemetry Technician - Central Monitoring Unit - Contingent - Nights
Join Henry Ford Health as a Telemetry Technician on the Central Monitoring Unit, working the nighttime shift in the Monitor Room 001 at Henry Ford Providence Novi Hospital.
ShiftMidnight Shift – 7:00 pm to 7:30 am
Job DescriptionPerforms various activities regarding telemetry monitoring on patients requiring continual cardiac monitoring.
Responsibilities- Oversees and communicates cardiac patterns on telemetric devices.
- Maintains telemetry monitoring equipment and supply inventory.
- Documents irregular rhythms and monitors changes in heartbeat.
- Forwards changes to nurse and/or attending physician for analysis and interpretation.
- BLS Provider obtained within 30 days of hire date or job transfer date. Accepted by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- High School diploma, GED equivalency, or one year of applicable cumulative job‑specific experience.
- Required professional licensure or certification can serve as a substitute for education or experience, if applicable.
- Previous EKG/Telemetry experience preferred.
