• Shift: 7a-730p / 24 hours per week, rotating; primary shift on days, may cover nights.

• Performs various activities regarding telemetry monitoring on patients requiring continual cardiac monitoring.
• Oversees and communicates cardiac patterns on telemetric devices.
• Maintains telemetry monitoring equipment and supply inventory.
• Documents irregular rhythms and monitors changes in heartbeat.
• Forwards changes to nurse and/or attending physician for analysis and interpretation.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS through the American Heart Association required.
• Prior EKG/telemetry experience preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Requires completing a telemetry class and test to move forward with orientation.
• Rotating position; primary shift is on days, but may need to be assigned to nights on occasion to cover shifts due to vacations.
