Position Overview

Optalis Healthcare is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our business office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing billing, collections, financial reporting, and administrative functions to ensure efficient and effective office performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of the business office including billing, collections, and accounts receivable.
  • Supervise and support business office staff, providing training and guidance as needed.
  • Coordinate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports to support management decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, healthcare regulations, and billing guidelines.
  • Oversee insurance claims processing and follow-up on denials or discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to business office activities.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance office efficiency and customer service.
  • Serve as a liaison between the business office and external vendors or partners.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in healthcare business office management or related financial role.
  • Strong knowledge of medical billing, coding, and insurance processes.
  • Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and billing software.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and generate reports.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
