Position: Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

Join to apply for the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) role at Optalis Health & Rehabilitation Centers.

Under the supervision of the Facility Administrator, the Human Resources Business Partner will be responsible for managing all aspects of HR and payroll functions for Optalis Healthcare.

The HR Business Partner will provide HR support to the organization. The ideal candidate will have experience with Paycor, Microsoft Office, and be time-sensitive. They will work closely with management to ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures, manage employee relations, performance management, and talent acquisition, and develop HR strategies aligned with company goals.

Essential Job

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Processing payroll for all employees.
  • Managing the time and attendance system, including employee information updates and coordinating with supervisors.
  • Managing the HRIS system, processing personnel changes, and compensation adjustments.
  • Facilitating recruitment and managing applicant tracking.
  • Creating retention strategies and employee engagement programs.
  • Onboarding and orientation for new hires.
  • Maintaining personnel records.
  • Administering benefits, including Open Enrollment.
  • Processing court orders for dependent benefits.
  • Handling FMLA and Workers' Compensation processing.
  • Reporting for OSHA and EEOC compliance.
  • Addressing employee issues and disputes.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and providing customer service.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Capable of functioning well in high-paced, stressful environments.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 2-3 years of HR experience.
  • 1-2 years of Talent Acquisition experience.
  • 1-2 years of payroll processing experience.
  • Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, especially in healthcare.
  • Experience with ATS systems like Paycor, ICISMS, or Bullhorn is highly preferred.
