Role Overview
We are seeking a SAP Data Migration or Data Governance Lead to support enterprise SAP transformation initiatives across manufacturing and supply chain environments. This role focuses on improving data quality, standardizing master data, and executing data migration strategies to support SAP implementations.
This position plays a critical role in ensuring SAP programs succeed by addressing legacy data challenges and establishing sustainable data governance practices.
Key Responsibilities- Lead SAP data migration and data governance efforts across manufacturing systems
- Assess legacy data sources and define cleanup, transformation, and migration strategies
- Establish data standards, ownership, and governance processes
- Coordinate data migration activities with SAP functional and technical teams
- Support testing, validation, cutover, and post go live stabilization
- Partner with business users to ensure data accuracy and usability
- Identify data risks and recommend mitigation strategies
- Seven or more years of experience in SAP data migration or data governance roles
- Experience working with legacy manufacturing or supply chain data
- Strong understanding of SAP master data objects and data structures
- Experience supporting ERP or SAP transformation programs
- Ability to bridge technical and business perspectives
- Experience supporting SAP S4
HANA migrations - Experience working in large manufacturing enterprises
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks and best practices
