Real Estate Paralegal
Join Ginosko Development Company as a Real Estate Paralegal. We seek a detail‑oriented professional to support attorneys with legal document preparation, research, notarization, and transaction support.
Essential Functions / Responsibilities- Review surveys, title commitments, lending documents, and investor requirements to analyze title documents and legal descriptions.
- Prepare and assist with a wide range of real estate acquisition, disposition, loan, and construction documents (e.g., operating agreements, purchase and sale agreements, construction contracts, closing documents).
- Facilitate communication between parties and distribute documents.
- Assist with ancillary documents such as escrow instructions, deeds, easements, affidavits, and closing certificates.
- Provide general assistance in real estate, lending, construction, and leasing transactions.
- Proof‑read documents for accuracy and consistency.
- Analyze and summarize zoning ordinances, statutes, and other legal documents for attorneys.
- Support attorneys in day‑to‑day issues and broad commercial transactions.
- Document processes and maintain hard‑copy and electronic records.
- Conduct legal due diligence.
- Answer questions, inform parties of progress, and submit legal documents timely.
- Assist in closing processes, including coordinating signature pages.
- Drive to collect and notarize original signature pages.
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree with paralegal certification; real estate focus preferred.
- Minimum five years’ experience as a real estate paralegal; experience with diverse populations preferred.
- Background in affordable housing and real estate transactions.
- Willingness to become a notary; valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; certificate of personal auto liability insurance.
- Strong stakeholder service skills and dedication to dependability and punctuality.
- Excellent analytical, research, and organizational skills; ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to collaborate with counsel, staff, and external partners.
- Self‑starter who thrives in a team environment and partners with management and clients.
- Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly; gather and analyze information.
$70,000 – $85,000 per year
