Position Summary: The Corporate Accounting Manager oversees day‑to‑day corporate accounting operations, ensures the accuracy of financial reporting, and supports the month‑end and year‑end close processes for Optalis Healthcare. This role provides leadership, technical accounting expertise, and operational support to ensure compliance with corporate policies, GAAP standards, and healthcare‑specific regulatory requirements. The Corporate Accounting Manager also partners with facility‑level leaders to provide financial guidance, ensure process consistency, and support organizational financial goals.
EssentialJob Responsibilities:
- Manage daily corporate accounting functions, including general ledger oversight, account reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries.
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Review and approve reconciliations, financial schedules, and supporting documentation prepared by accounting staff.
- Prepare and/or oversee complex accounting entries, revenue schedules, allocations, and intercompany transactions.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, Optalis accounting policies, and healthcare financial regulations.
- Support annual financial audits and serve as a liaison with external auditors.
- Collaborate with facility administrators, regional leaders, and finance staff to resolve accounting issues and provide financial clarity.
- Monitor and enhance internal controls, recommending process improvements to strengthen accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as needed.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and development for accounting team members.
- Participate in corporate projects, system conversions, and financial process optimization initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in healthcare or multi‑facility operations.
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience required.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and healthcare financial structures.
- Proficiency in accounting software systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Desirable:
Specific experience with PCC general ledger, Quickbooks, Avid Pay software. - Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines, maintain accuracy, and work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.

Work Environment Requirements :
