Electronics Technician, Manufacturing Engineer
Responsibilities
- Perform wiring and harness assembly using drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and work instructions
- Cut, crimp, strip, solder, heat-shrink, and terminate wires, connectors, busbars, and grounding components
- Install wiring into battery modules, packs, control panels, BMS enclosures, and custom fixtures
- Conduct continuity checks, insulation checks, and basic electrical testing with multimeters and diagnostic tools
- Support troubleshooting of wiring issues in prototype and production environments
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following 5S and EHS requirements
- Complete documentation in accordance with quality management requirements (e.g., sign-offs, in-process checks, test results)
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to identify issues and recommend improvements
- Support build schedule priorities, change orders, and rework when required
- Follow strict handling protocols for high-voltage (HV) and electrostatic sensitive devices (ESD)
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship quality
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-changing environment
- Commitment to safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement
- Strong communication and documentation discipline
High School or better.
Experience PreferredExperience building wiring systems for energy storage, EV battery packs, or battery module assembly
Experience with high-voltage systems (up to 800V) and HV safety protocols
Experience working in a production, automotive, electronics, aerospace, or EV environment
Proficiency with wiring assembly tools (crimpers, strippers, micros, torque drivers, heat guns, solder stations)
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and mechanical drawings
Familiarity with basic electrical testing tools (multimeters, continuity testers)
